Working farms are an essential
part of our future.

Now, more than ever.

About Norwich Farm Foundation

The Norwich Farm Foundation was created by a group of passionate Norwich community members determined to keep Norwich Farm a working farm for future generations in the Upper Valley.  We’ve developed a ten-year plan to turn the farm into a successful, diversified, value-added dairy farm serving the educational and nutritional needs of the local Upper Valley community.

For the past two years, the Foundation has been rallying support to encourage Vermont State Colleges and the Upper Valley Land Trust to help maintain a local farm, bring back dairy education, and preserve the local agriculture that helps address food security and sustainability.

Norwich Farm is the last remaining dairy farm in Norwich. We recently closed on the purchase of the farmstead. We're honored to announce that the agricultural and educational heritage in our community now will not be lost forever. This is our opportunity for our community to work together to create a future that includes local dairy and agriculture for generations to come.
